Show cancelled.
The concert in Metropool, Hengelo on friday december 7th has been cancelled due to the sudden illness of Sander Gommans of After Forever.
In his own words:
"Hi everybody,
Last Friday, on my way to a gig in the Czech Republic, I had a seizure attack in the airplane. No one knows exactly what it was at this point, but it was similar to an epileptic attack and was very scary.
After that, I was taken to an Austrian hospital where I stayed for one day. They did some research and told me to go to the hospital in Holland for more tests to find out exactly what the cause of the episode was.
I’m back in Holland now, and I’ll keep you updated about my condition as soon as I know more.
Since I’m aware of the fact it could be related to my recent burn out, and the doctors confirmed this, I have to take absolute rest the upcoming week.
That means I will not be able to do the gig scheduled for this coming Friday in Hengelo.
Of course, I feel really frustrated, but let’s hope I have more information soon.

Dear guest, Sephyros has found a new bassplayer, that is, he found us and he is not very new anymore, but still, without further ado, welcome to our band and please forgive us the time it took, Niko van der Hoek.

A Goodbye.
Most respected guest, Sephyros has the sad task to inform you that bassplayer Sander Stegeman and Sephyros have parted ways. Due to a new job and his tight schedule, Sander regrets that there are no more hours in a week and has to cut some of the load down to make some time to breathe. Sephyros wishes Sander all the best with all his future projects.

A Goodbye.
Most respected guest, Sephyros has the sad task to inform you that bassplayer Sander Stegeman and Sephyros have parted ways. Due to a new job and his tight schedule, Sander regrets that there are no more hours in a week and has to cut some of the load down to make some time to breathe. Sephyros wishes Sander all the best with all his future projects.

All recordings of the first Sephyros studio adventure have been finished. Now the time for mixing has arrived.
The recordings have been done at the D.E.T.O.X Recording Studio of Wietze Halma (Edge of Anger, Gallowfields) in Minnertsga and that is also where the mixing will take place.
Sephyros will try to keep you up to date as much as possible.
Data lost.
Due to a few very unfortunate occurrances of bad luck the Sephyros webspace has been temporarily vaporised.
The site has been restored, but some data (in particular some info at the live pictures section and all guestbook postings) was lost for all eternity.
Sephyros hopes that you bear with us and keep sending photographs and post in our guestbook, as we will try to add more and more content to the site.

All recordings of the first Sephyros studio adventure have been finished. Now the time for mixing has arrived.

With the release of the new Autumn album "My New Time", new shows have been added to their list, giving Sephyros the possibility to join them in their renewed effort to conquer the Netherlands.
The first confirmation of Sephyros playing at one of the the Autumn release tour dates takes place at Parkhof in Alkmaar on June the 16th.
Another great honour has befallen Sephyros as they will be playing at the Gothic and Fantasy Beurs in Rijswijk on the 27th of October. When attending be sure to also check out Rapalje who will probably be joined by David Myles, one of the best bagpipeplayers in the Netherlands.

It has come to the attention of the Chronicler that Sephyros is brewing something behind closed doors. Being a near omnipotent creature the Cronicler has been able to get hold of a few inside pictures of the recording of the drums. They seem to be genuine and confirm that Sephyros really has begun to record some songs.

Continuous expansion of the Sephyros social network has provided them with a very close to source booking possibility.
The newly started booking office The Fall has took upon them the burden of placing Sephyros at the right place at the right moment. Let us congratulate our offspring good tidings and prosperity with not only ourselves but also the following interesting bands: Edge of Anger (nl), Miseria (fi) and Prey (nl).
